I created an interesting “cracked ice” effect by accident by spraying blue paint onto not quite dry white primer. I experimented with this effect and started adding ice block details. Finally I finished with the franchise logo and a few coats of gloss auto-body lacquer.

Note the metallic blue cable end.

R.I.P Nana and Popo

Update: This controller was bought by a smasher called JigglyIce, I did some touchup work, then a blue wash over the whole thing, added his tag to the back of the controller and covered it in many layers of protective matte lacquer. I think the controller looks much better now and I’m really proud of the outcome.
