This controller was made for Top Ice Climbers player Robert “PG|Wobbles” Wright.

I worked with Garrett Greenwood (Serisium) who is the man behind the Shinewave LED mod to create this controller and all credit for the LED modding and setup of the controller goes to him.

The design of the controller is based on the colours and coats of the Ice Climbers as well as Wobbles’ sponsor, Panda Global’s logos.

The base for this controller is a clear shell and as such can be lit from the inside by LEDs.

I primed the shell using clear plastic primer so that the areas I wanted clear would remain un-obscured. Once the primer was dry I masked off all areas that I didn’t want to get painty and then lightly applied the pinky purple gradient that makes up the majority of the controller. The thin pink lines that wrap around the handles were painted by hand.

The areas around the left analogue stick and the buttons on the right hand side are surrounded by beigey/off white paint in the shape of the fur on the Ice Climber’s hoods.

The front of the controller has the Panda Global Panda head logo done using clear waterslide transfer. The back has the PG logo done the same way.

The entire controller is protected by many layers of matte lacquer.
