When I was young my Grandma always used to tell me not to touch the wallpaper as I walked up the stairs at her house…

The wallpaper-esque pattern on this controller was done using waterslide transfer sheets in combination with micro-set and micro-sol which help it to adhere to the controller, dissolve the transfer slightly and, if used correctly, smooth out some of the folds and wrinkles that ensue when wrapping around curves. Any cracks in the transfer were filled with light greeny blue paint.

The raised button areas are painted orange to contrast the light greeny blue of the wallpaper and the end of the cable is painted gold.

The entire controller is protected by Mipa winner matt lacquer which give it a luxurious soft texture.
