{"id":264,"date":"2016-03-01T12:56:36","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T12:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/theinternationale.com\/designoutofshield\/?p=264"},"modified":"2016-03-29T17:16:19","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T17:16:19","slug":"hurry-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theinternationale.com\/designoutofshield\/2016\/03\/01\/hurry-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Hurry Up!!"},"content":{"rendered":"[metaslider id=262]\n<p>A controller based on Iconic Nintendo character Wario featuring&nbsp;the character&#8217;s face on the front of the bright yellow controller and the &#8220;HurryUp!!&#8221; design from his denim jacket on the back of the controller which is painted sparkling purple.<\/p>\n<p>I painted Wario&#8217;s face by hand from a drawing previously sketched on to the controller. I used air brush paints, paint markers and Rotring pens interspersed with layers of lacquer.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Hurry Up!!&#8221; on the back was done similarly though I used gloss rather than matte Lacquer between layers of paint.<\/p>\n<p>The end of the cable has been painted yellow to match Wario&#8217;s outfit with the &#8220;W&#8221; symbol from his hat.
