I painted this controller to look like cheese with the Smash Brothers logo in cheese hole style in the centre of the faceplate.

The shadows in the holes are all hand painted whereas the silhouette of Luigi on the left handle in “A button” green and Marth on the right handle in “B button” red were made by masking the design off using ArtTool Ultra mask. The light areas of the holes were made by masking the design and spraying yellow over. The cheese holes and silhouettes are surrounded by black outlines done with paint marker and Rotring pens and the entire controller is protected by multiple layers of matte lacquer.
