A controller I made for a London smasher named Luigimitsu.

He came up with the designs and was very involved throughout the design and painting process.

You can see his design work at the back of the gallery. Luigimitsu was integral to this process and I couldn’t have created such a great controller without his designs.

This GameCube controller features Luigi silhouettes in light green, dark green and light blue on a creamy white background. There is a large hand painted closeup of Luigi’s face in the centre of the controller. The A, B & Z buttons have been painted blue, deep pink and green respectively. The cable end has been painted in dark green and the entire controller is protected by many layers of matte autobody Lacquer.

Update: After fixing some damage to this controller I ended up doing an almost complete overhaul of the colours making them more subdued, cleaner and covering the entire controller in protective matte lacquer. I think the controller looks much better than it did before and it feels much nicer with the matte lacquer.
