Take a look at some of the images from the week that we have spent with the Street artist Stik on the Bede Estate. The Registered Social Landlord -RSL- East End Homes, have been really brave in investing in this project. It has been an investment that is well founded. The children were quick witted and inventive and the adults, though they disliked the smell of the paint, were enthusiastic supporters. They were pleased to see some positive work with the children and young people. We have been doing play sessions for the younger kids and the local church has a youth session running.

This is a beginners guide to play and Playwork. It was written as a part of a Play Literacy campaign. It may be useful to people who are trying to help people understand the things they need to remember when they are thinking about playing in their communities and working out the best ways to support the development of a playable environment .
It is free to download.
Hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
